When my husband was diagnosed, we were told that we could not find much information about celiac disease on the Internet, and would like to say a nutritionist. However, they referred to a dietitian, who are covered by insurance.
If you just want to know how many others have received their diagnosis, but gave no further help, support or information on where to buy gluten-free foods.

When I was diagnosed with celiac disease over 10 years, give me some information other than to stop eating, gluten. This has been a challenge, but with a considerable amount of research to understand things.
I found that the medical establishment is a bit hesitant to evidence, diagnosis, and help with this disease. It is a shame, because it is much more than an allergy, people often think he is. Celiac disease is a multi-organ auto-immune deficiency can be fatal if not treated. As you know, the only treatment is a gluten-free diet.

Frankly, I was not fulfilling a celiac disease and has received dietcian! Most have no more idea of celiac disease diagnosis that the documents do not rebound with us! Since it takes an average of 9 years, to have a celiac disease diagnosis, his "doubtful achieved dieticitic (sp?) The municipality, whether the documents IN havent yet! My best friend is an RD and really not much help!
Most celiacs do your own online research, and are valid through support groups.
U can be a dietitian is available at your local Sprue Association of BC, each chapter must be a doc and a dietician IM in the reference file. But this does not mean that all R & D (each chapter really help with some of the chapters have difficulties, a CD that can help).
